Additional meetings for parents on committees this week:

Our first meeting for marketing/ad sales went great! We're looking forward to equally productive meetings for costumes and scenery.

Scripts are in their hands!

Hello,
The kids received their scripts this afternoon. Yeah! On the front cover, the kids should've circled what Act, Scene and Songs they are in. As Ms. Mulcahy said at the meeting, not everyone has to be at every practice. The schedule next week is as follows:

  • Monday, 4-5 pm: Songs 1 and 5
  • Tuesday, 4-5:30 pm: Act I (that's scenes 1, 2, and 3)
  • Thursday, 4-5:30 pm: Act II (that's scenes 4, 5, and 6)

Welcome to the sgawizard blog

Hello,


If you are reading this, you are probably involved in some way in the SGA's Wizard of Oz production. Performance dates are April 30 (in school), May 1 and May 2. It may seem like a long time before the performance, but there is a lot of work to do.

Ms. Mulcahy held the first parent's meeting on Tuesday evening. It was a great turnout. She gave us a list of possible committees. Among these were:
  • Costumes

  • Marketing

  • Sets

  • Refreshments

  • Program (Ad sales)

  • Make-up/Hair

  • Sound/Lighting

Please feel free to respond to me at cindytodd422@gmail.com if you would like to volunteer. You can also contact me by cell phone, 772-940-2499. Spots are still available for those who would like to chair each committee. Please contact Ms. Mulcahy at the school if you have any questions. We are looking for energetic parents to take on these tasks to make this production a success. If you have a lot of time, or a little, we can use you!
